Pillivuyt was founded in 1818 by Jean Louis Richard Pillivuyt. It was first established in the town of Foëcy but in 1853 Charles, his son, decided to install a new plant in Mehun-sur-Yèvre, which today still produces high quality porcelain not only for hotels and restaurants, but also for individuals passionate about cooking. So naturally, Pillivuyt partners culinary shows like Top Chef aired on the Channel M6 to promote the recipes prepared by the candidates.
Tours of the workshops : The Municipal Tourist Office is authorized to organize and conduct visits to the premises of the company. Guided tours of the different workshops take place throughout the year.
